Nador: Arrest of two people suspected of drug trafficking and possession of firearms

On the basis of precise data provided by the services of the General Directorate of National Territorial Surveillance, police elements of the security region in Nador succeeded, Tuesday afternoon (March 26), in arresting two individuals, suspected of involvement in a case of possession and trafficking of 16 kilograms and 650 grams of cocaine as well as possession of firearms.

The suspects, aged 31 and 48, were apprehended during simultaneous security operations in the city of Nador and the Farkhana region, due to their alleged links to the importation of cocaine shipments and their trafficking in local level.

According to the same source, the search operation led to the seizure of 16 plates of cocaine with a total weight of 16 kilograms and 650 grams.
