Last night, Thursday, elements of the Urban Brigade of the Judicial Police in the first security zone of Gueliz arrested one of the largest promoters of hard drugs in the city, nicknamed "Tahraoui", along with two girls, at the Al-Najat residence in the Mabrouka neighborhood.
The arrest operation took place after setting up a tight ambush in the Al-Najat neighborhood, which is part of the Gueliz district. The initial search resulted in the seizure of cocaine wraps that were prepared for promotion. The police elements also moved to his girlfriend's apartment, located on Moulay Abdellah Street, near the Higher School of Commerce, where a significant quantity of cocaine was seized, in addition to an electronic scale used to weigh and divide the prohibited substances. The move was also made towards the suspect's house in the Al-Manara district, where an additional quantity of the same drug was found, which reinforces the hypothesis of his extensive activity in promoting "white poisons" in the city. The three detainees have been placed in custody, where they are being questioned in official records under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution, in order to reveal the remaining possible extensions of this criminal network.
