Instagram enables comments in Stories

Instagram, the photo and video sharing platform, recently introduced a new feature that allows you to write comments on Stories, which disappear 24 hours after they are posted.
This new feature allows users to comment on Stories, creating a discussion between content creators and their followers, rather than simply sending the comment in a private message to the creator.
The new update will allow users to open or close comments on any story, but it’s not yet clear whether the platform will allow users to close comments after they’ve published a story, as is the case with regular Instagram posts, the Instagram spokeswoman said.
The new feature is part of a series of steps Instagram is taking to make Reels and Stories a space for content sharing and social interaction between content creators and their followers, as well as friends and family, and not just a space for posting mainstream content, which the user quickly scrolls through by swiping up on the screen.
