Al-Sharqawi: There is no regulatory basis for the “30-year ceiling” for entering the teaching profession

Al-Sharqawi wrote on the wall of his official Facebook page: “The Ministry of National Education once again denounces the “30-year ceiling” imposed on candidates for educational competitions. Frankly, there is no regulatory basis for this decision. the decree of the Basic Law as a special regulatory text, and there is no legal basis contained in the Basic Law for the civil service, which has general competence in the absence of a special text that makes sense for the general, and there is no basis for the decision in the Constitution, which is the highest legal document of the state. From a legal point of view, this is a decision tainted by an excessive use of power under the pretext of seeking quality.”
The Ministry of National Education has announced that, on Saturday, October 5, 2024, competitive examinations for admission to teaching staff positions in regional centers for education and training professions will be held, specifying that the age of candidates for the competition must not exceed 30 years. the date of his detention.
The ministry of Chakib Benmoussa stressed that candidates for the competition must hold Moroccan nationality, enjoy national civil rights, meet the requirement of physical fitness to carry out the tasks assigned to them, and not be the subject of a judicial decision punishable by a sentence of deprivation of liberty, in addition to not being registered in the central disciplinary register, and not having an employment relationship with another employer.
