New police arrest person who stole ‘boat’ to use for illegal immigration

Elements of the Royal Gendarmerie in El Jadida were able to arrest a person who was stealing a boat in the port.

According to a local source, a sailor reported to the maritime gendarmerie that his boat, which he uses for fishing, had been stolen in the city’s port.

The same source added that the authorities concerned moved to search for the thief and the boat, before finding it, the person concerned having confessed that he intended to exploit it for illegal immigration in the next two days.
