Major projects are continuing at a sustained pace in Morocco, within the framework of the open workshops to which our country has committed with a view to organizing numerous continental and international events, notably the 2030 World Cup.

Among these projects, we mention the Stade du Post in Rabat. This emblematic and historic stadium has officially started to be demolished to be rebuilt in a modern way and will be completely covered.

The National Agency for Public Equipment launched, a few weeks ago, three international calls for tenders to initiate and monitor the construction work of the “Barid” football complex, in the prefecture of Rabat, which can accommodate 15,000 spectators and is intended for training during Morocco’s hosting of the 2030 World Cup jointly with Spain and Portugal.

The “Barid” stadium is located in the heart of the Agdal district in Rabat, the capital, and has been allocated an estimated budget of 30 billion centimes. The stadium, in its new form, will be able to accommodate 15,000 spectators, on an area of 2.2 hectares, and is fully covered. It will also be equipped with an underground car park near the stadium, to ensure adequate reception of the public.
