The “exposed” drains have become a threat to the safety of the citizens of Agadir. After the rains that the city witnessed, and for fear that the streets would turn into pools of water, the municipality of Agadir intervened and opened a number of them. that rainwater could be evacuated through the channels designated for this purpose. However, after the return of the climate, for reasons of stability, the same interests did not close these drains.

This situation causes accidents in which citizens fall into these pipes, and the severity of the injuries varies from case to case. One of the students was a victim of these exposed pipes, after falling into a rainwater pipe at the Al. Masirah neighborhood in the center of the city.

There are also thieves of these blankets because they contain quantities of iron, which are collected at night and left without cover, putting the lives of many people in danger.
