A group of companies specializing in the management of slaughterhouses, parking lots and weekly market areas in Morocco have filed a letter in front of the office of Mohamed Amhidia, the governor of the Casablanca-Settat region, asking him to activate his powers and write to the Berrechid community, with the intention of announcing the transaction of renting the weekly Monday market in Berrechid.
They alerted the same correspondent that significant public funds were lost in the group’s treasury, due to the non-announcement of the agreement to rent parking lots and market spaces, and by letting foreigners collect and put public funds in their pockets without having the right to do so.
The same companies have denounced people who, on their own initiative, print tickets to extort money in parking lots on the day of the weekly market, Monday, in Berrechid, without any rights and without any contract, written agreement or rental agreement linking them to the Berrechid group, which results in a loss of public funds for the community of Berrechid.
The same correspondence, a copy of which was posted, also requested that the minutes be drawn up at the headquarters of the prefecture of the province of Berrechid, yesterday Wednesday, September 11, addressed to the worker, in which they set out their demands, specified in the announcement of the agreement for the rental of the facilities of the weekly market on Monday in Berrechid, and including the spacious entrance of livestock to the weekly market as well as spacious parking lots and furniture, as well as the transport of meat.
The correspondent requested that the tender specifications for the rental of the market facilities be published on the public procurement portal and made available to those wishing to compete for the acquisition in the context of fair competition.
The companies indicated at the end of their correspondence that they had sent a copy to the Minister of the Interior, the Governor and the employee of the Berrechid prefecture.
