The city of Marrakech hosted the Official African Chefs Championship 2024, which began its activities today, Thursday, September 12, with the participation of the best chefs from the African continent.
The event brings together the greatest African talents around two continental competitions: the “Bocuse d’Or Afrique” and the “Africa Pastry Making Cup”.
These chefs and pastry chefs, carefully selected in their country, came to defend the colours of their country in front of a jury composed of the greatest experts in the field.
Regarding the Moroccan participation, the chefs were selected during the Moroccan Culinary Championship, a benchmark competition organized in May last year as part of the International Forum of Professionals in Catering, Pastry, Food and Hospitality (CREMAI).
The event showcases the expertise of competing African chefs, while also focusing on the deep cultural ties that exist between the continent’s culinary traditions.
