A transition movement for employees and executives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs concerns 405 positions

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad announced, Tuesday March 26, 2024, the results of the annual transition movement of its employees.

The transition movement in the ranks of ministry employees concerned 405 positions, distributed between appointments abroad, reappointment to other missions and centers, extension of the working period in the same mission or center and annexation to the central administration of the ministry.

This transitional movement aims to continue the consolidation of the administrative mechanisms adopted in this area by relying on the “reference system” of the structures of diplomatic missions and consular centers with the aim of a balanced distribution of skills with vacant positions.

The transitional movement also aims to support the dynamic expansion of the network of diplomatic missions and consular centers of the Kingdom abroad on the one hand, and to continue the downloading of the ministry's work plan relating to modernization and digitalization of consular services, on the other hand.

It should be noted that, as in recent years, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad was keen to announce the results of this transitional movement during the month of March, so that those concerned can take the necessary procedures and measures to return to their new workplaces on September 1, in the best possible conditions.
