Heba Press – Oujda
The Al-Quds neighborhood in Oujda, close to Mohammed I University, is known for a notable increase in the phenomenon of reckless motorcycle drivers, which has prompted a number of civil activists to sound the alarm and demand the intervention of security authorities to deter these drivers.
The streets and alleys, especially Nakheel Street, have become the scene of acrobatic movements carried out by some motorists, which constitute a real danger for the safety of passers-by, in addition to the inconvenience resulting from the noise of their bicycles, in addition to the increase in thefts.
Several Heba Press contributors, residing in the Jerusalem neighborhood, confirmed to us that a woman was about to be the victim of a road accident due to the recklessness of a motorcyclist, but divine providence saved her at the last moment, calling on the security authorities to intensify patrols and surveillance and to seize motorcycles that violate the laws and safety regulations both for passersby and for disturbing residents.
