Khaled Al-Sati, advisor to the National Union of Labor in Morocco, said that the government’s intention to integrate the National Fund for Social Reserve Organizations (CNOPS) into the National Social Security Fund (CNSS) has sparked angry reactions from various parties, including those involved, and in particular users of the establishment concerned.
Al-Sati explained in a written question to the Prime Minister that the government took this step that concerns more than three million subscribers and thousands of users who do not have their own platform and rights without implementing the participatory approach, which could cause great tensions due to the divergence of services and the fear of losing rights and gains.
Al-Sati called on the Prime Minister to reveal the procedures and measures that the government intends to take to implement the participatory approach before returning the draft law No. 23-54 aimed at amending and supplementing Law No. 00-65 relating to basic health insurance obligations and enacting special provisions for the Parliament in order to preserve the rights of employees and ensure that participants and beneficiaries benefit from the same services.
