Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri, a striker for Turkish club Fenerbahce, is facing strong criticism from the team’s fans after the level he has shown at the start of the new 2024-2025 football season.
The 27-year-old joined Fenerbahce from Sevilla in Spain in the last summer transfer window on a five-year contract until June 30, 2029.
The Moroccan international has scored just one goal in the Turkish league for Fenerbahce this season and has missed several scoring opportunities, only to face a barrage of criticism.
Al-Nusairi is going through a difficult time in the Turkish league with his club Fenerbahce, and he must respond to his critics by scoring the opponent’s goal in the upcoming matches.
Portuguese Jose Mourinho also decided to remove the Atlas Lions striker from his team’s starting eleven, as he was not convinced by his technical performances in recent matches, even though he was behind schedule in his mission.
The Moroccan international has yet to convince Fenerbahce fans or coach Mourinho, having only started twice and scored just one goal so far.
Youssef En-Nesyri is considered one of the players who do not maintain a constant level, as his level varies from high to low, which was evident in all his experiences with the previous clubs he played for, and in the first Moroccan national team as Bien.
