National voter Walid Regragui has set October 4 as the start date for the Moroccan national team’s preparatory camp, which is preparing to face Central Africa in the African Cup qualifiers.
The Moroccan national team’s squad will experience significant changes, due to the decline in the level of some players, the injuries of others, and the brilliance of players with their clubs who were absent from the “Atlas Lions” in previous matches.
The Moroccan national team squad is expected to see the return of 3 players who have been playing for their clubs so far, led by Yahya Attia Allah, the left-back of the Egyptian club Al-Ahly, who was absent from the “Atlas Lions” in the last two matches against Gabon and Lesotho.
Jawad Al-Yamiq, the Saudi defender of Al-Wahda, also has a good chance of returning to the Moroccan national team, from which he has been absent since the final phase of the 2022 World Cup, and his return will serve to compensate for the absence of Romain Ghanem Saiss, who lacks competitiveness, and Shadi Riad, who is “injured”.
Sporting Braga’s Portuguese striker Amin Ouazzani is in strong competition for his place in the Moroccan national team, with a private source having mentioned the possibility of his presence with his country’s national team at the upcoming preparatory camp.
