Kylian Mbappé is currently at the center of a controversy over a rape complaint filed in Sweden, although this situation does not appear to affect his preparation for matches with Real Madrid.
According to RMC Sport, Mbappé continues to train normally with the team and is expected to be present for the match against Celta Vigo this weekend, despite the opening of an investigation in Sweden. The incident in question dates back to a recent trip to Sweden where Mbappé was seen at entertainment venues in Stockholm, including a restaurant and a nightclub, even though he had not joined the French team for a meeting in the League of Nations against Israel.
His presence in Sweden, while France played, sparked criticism, especially since the striker had justified his absence due to an injury requiring rest in Madrid. However, Real Madrid have reportedly granted him permission to travel. Swedish media such as Aftonbladet reported that Mbappé had taken measures to remain discreet during his stay, banning the use of cell phones in the places he frequented.
The player has since left Sweden and returned to his activities with the Madrid club. Although this complaint is serious, the player and his entourage have not changed his sporting agenda, and the presumption of innocence prevails as long as the investigation continues.
