Moroccan international Abdelkebir Abakar has sparked widespread controversy in Spain after asking Frenchman Kylian Mbappé for a shirt at half-time during Deportivo Alaves’ match against Real Madrid, today Tuesday, in the Spanish league.
Immediately after the referee’s whistle at the end of the first round, Moroccan player Aqkar grabbed Kylian Mbappé’s jersey on the pitch as they were heading towards the clothing warehouses, a shot that sparked widespread controversy in Spain, especially as the match had not yet finished.
In addition, the Deportivo Alaves coach replaced the player Aqkar between the two halves, immediately after the incident in which he received Mbappé’s shirt, which the Spanish media interpreted as a disciplinary decision by the coach regarding the player’s behavior.
