The national security services of the city of Chefchaouen have reacted very seriously to a video clip published on social networks at the beginning of the week of September, showing a person forcing a woman into a taxi using violence in one of the streets of the city of Chefchaouen.
The research and investigations carried out in light of this recording showed that the victim did not file a complaint for these criminal acts, the research carried out by the police services after the publication of this recording having made it possible to identify the victim who turned out to have previously known the suspect, before the person concerned was arrested, as well as the taxi driver, were the subject of a judicial investigation.
The two suspects were held in theoretical detention pending the judicial investigation which took place under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, to discover all the circumstances, circumstances and context of this case, before being brought to justice yesterday, Monday, September 23.
