Two days ago, the Coordination Committee of the Southern Representation, affiliated with the National Coordination of Military Retirees, Veterans, Widows and Persons with Rights, participated in a demonstration in front of the Foundation of Social Works of the veterans of Guelmim, in which a coordination group participated (Aoussard Dakhla, Al Wahda Tantan, Lahma Guelmim, Promoting the rights of retirees and widows Asa, Coordination Foum Lahsn, Agadir el-Kebir, Souss-Massa and region of Taroudant, in addition to the representations of Ifni, Bozkarn and Guelmim-Bab Sahara).
The demonstrators called on the government to accelerate the implementation of their legitimate rights included in their file of demands set out in the declaration of November 28, 2018 and to activate all the social rights provided for by Laws 97/33 and 97/34. , emphasizing during this demonstration that they will not be satisfied with the marginalization that has affected them, the meager pensions that they receive and the policy of indifference with which the guardians and the authorities concerned face, and they will continue to brandish the slogan “No”. to exclusion”, especially in light of the miserable social conditions in which they live, due to the high cost of living and the freezing of pensions of veterans and warriors, including the owners of Rabli, prisoners of war , the war wounded, temporary owners, residents of military housing and warehouses, widows and widowers of martyrs and beneficiaries.
