National voter Walid Regragui justified the reasons for the summoning of Youssef En-Nesyri, the Turkish striker of Fenerbahçe, to face the Central African Republic in the qualifiers for the “Morocco 2025” African Cup, despite his declining performances.
Regragui said during his intervention at the press conference held this Thursday morning to announce the national team list: “The question of En-Nesyri is always sensitive, but he is one of the best attackers who have never experienced in the history of the Moroccan national team. team. »
He added: “My mission as a coach is to help the players regain their confidence and their level. »
He continued: “Al-Nusairi has great confidence in himself and I am convinced that he will soon manage to regain his confidence and level. »
He concluded: “Al-Nusairi is going through a difficult time, it’s true, and the public can be worried and they have the right to do so, but I am here to give them confidence. »
It should be noted that striker Youssef En-Nesyri is having a difficult start with his new Turkish team, Fenerbahce, after his level dropped, as he has scored only one goal in 10 matches in all competitions.
