The Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi, defender of Paris Saint-Germain, raised concerns for his team's technical staff before the upcoming match against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Paris Saint-Germain will host Bayern Munich on Tuesday evening at the "Parc des Princes" stadium, in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final for the 2025-2026 season. The French newspaper "L'Équipe" revealed that Hakimi's substitution at half-time during the Paris Saint-Germain and Angers match on Saturday was due to him feeling muscular pain after an attack, which prompted the technical staff to rest him as a precautionary measure. The same sources indicated that the player underwent a quick medical evaluation, with expectations that he would be fit to participate against Bayern Munich during the anticipated European summit, especially since he seeks revenge against the German team after suffering a serious injury in a previous match this season. Hakimi is one of the most prominent players for Paris Saint-Germain this season, having scored 3 goals and provided 8 assists in 30 matches across all competitions.
