Today, Sunday, the security services of Tangier opened an investigation into the circumstances of a newborn abandoned in the Harrain district of Tangier.
According to informed sources, the child was found by a local resident and was wrapped in a white blanket. The same sources suggest that the child in question could be from an illicit relationship.
As soon as they learned of the incident, local and security authorities rushed to the scene, where they decided to conduct a preliminary investigation, in order to determine the identity of the infant and his mother, and to discover the circumstances of the incident.
The competent public prosecutor also ordered the opening of the legal procedures necessary for the transfer of the infant to the Tangier Nursery.
