Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Saudi club Al-Nasr, has praised his compatriot Ricardo Sabinto, who recently took over as coach of Raja Sports Club.
This contract comes after the dismissal of Bosnian coach Rosmir Zviko due to negative results.
Strong relationship between Ronaldo and Sabinto
Sabinto and Ronaldo have had a long relationship since the latter’s debut with the Sporting Lisbon team. In previous media statements to “Sportsfoot” magazine, Ronaldo said of Raja’s new coach: “I’ve been around him before, he’s a good person, a kind and direct person.
Ronaldo praised Sabinto’s deep knowledge of the game and his great love for football, highlighting that he was a great player and supporter of young players when he was at Sporting Lisbon.

The Portuguese star added: “We have all been impressed with his commitment to the club and the effort he has put in in training, and he has been fantastic in matches with his technical, mental and physical strength. He never gives up.
Ronaldo also praised the leadership role played by Sabinto in the dressing room, where he motivated the team and spoke words of encouragement before each match.
