The population of the territorial communities of the province of Jerada suffers great difficulties in accessing and benefiting from the health services of the Jerada Regional Hospital, due to the continued and unjustified absence of doctors in a number of important specialties, this which negatively and greatly affects services. provided to beneficiaries, especially to vulnerable and needy groups who cannot seek shelter for the private sector, as well as for urgent cases that require rapid and urgent intervention.
The phenomenon of absence and indifference of medical staff, as well as the enormous shortage of specialist doctors in basic specialties such as nephrology, obstetrics, anesthesia-resuscitation medicine and pediatrics, are among the the most significant problems that increase patient suffering. in the region, because this establishment is no longer able to accommodate a large number of these patients due to absences and only gives appointments over several months, particularly for groups requiring surgical interventions.
In a related context, the Scanner Service suffers from a shortage of doctors, as the service has only one doctor, which increases the suffering of patients and their companions, forced to travel tens of kilometers to seek treatment. at the regional hospital. .
It should be noted that at the Jerada Regional Hospital, dozens of patients with renal failure who benefit from the services of this hospital are subject to liquidation operations, without the supervision of a specialist doctor, which threatens their life due to failure to monitor their condition.
It has therefore become necessary for the Minister of Health to intervene to eliminate the damage caused to a population which is suffering in all its aspects.
