Activists circulated video clips of the young man Bilal, mocking his Moroccan nationality, while he was present on a talk show on an Algerian channel.
Activists also released a video clip of the young man, Bilal, refusing to carry the Moroccan flag while performing at a concert at the Mawazine Festival, which offered him a significant financial reward.
Activists said the Algerian singer had insulted Morocco and Moroccans, demanding that festival officials cancel his invitation, and promised to boycott his evening and all event activities if he attended.
