The management of Russian club Sochi has reacted to reports that Moroccan international Yahya Attiatallah is close to joining Egyptian club Al Ahly in the next summer transfer window.
In a statement cited by Egyptian media, Sochi sporting director Andrey Orlov said: “We have not received any offers from Al-Ahly regarding Yahya so far. We followed the news regarding Al Ahly’s negotiations with us to sign Yahya Attiyatallah, but in fact we did not receive any offers,” he added.
Orlov concluded: “We are not opposed to Attiyatallah leaving for any club, but it depends on the team’s position in the championship, as well as the offer presented to us to sell him… If we receive a large offer, he could leave through the penalty clause. »
