Moroccan artist Mohamed El-Choubi was transferred yesterday Saturday to the rehabilitation department of a private clinic in Tangier after his state of health deteriorated.
Officials of the Moroccan Cinema Center reported that Al-Choubi, who was honored last Friday at the opening of the National Film Festival, was admitted to a private clinic in the city of Tangier to receive treatment.
Al-Shoubi was supposed to attend the screening of the film “Mandarin” by young director Heba El Bouchatawi, in which he plays the main role, but his poor health prevented him from participating in this event.
Artist Muhammad Al-Shoubi suffers from liver cirrhosis. He disappeared for a while, before reappearing with different features, after losing a lot of weight due to the illness.
