Multiple tax changes have been introduced by the government as part of the new finance bill, particularly with regard to the consumption tax.
Among the products that will be included in the imposition of a new tax in the event of approval of the finance bill presented by Nadia Fattah El Alaoui, Minister of Economy and Finance, we find “Lamaàssal”.
The proposed finance bill provided for the imposition of a tax on “Lamaàssal”, used in the manufacture of “hookah”, as it included a paragraph stipulating the imposition of a tax on non-tobacco nicotine substitutes of an amount of 220 dirhams for each kilogram.
