Public sector employees represent a significant percentage of the discussions that coincide each year with the presentation of the finance bill, given the financial cost included in the law and linked to the coverage of salaries and expenses in this category.
According to the outline of the new finance bill for next year, presented by Nadia Fattah Al-Alawi, the number of public sector employees in Morocco has seen a drop of 1.24 percent over the last ten years.
According to data from the same project, the number of employees in the “civilian” public sector in our country will reach in the coming year a total of 570,917 employees, both men and women.
