Heba Press: Oujda
Many areas between Ahfir and Berkane are experiencing a “worrying” spread of wild boars, which are now roaming freely on roads and fields, according to what was documented by the phones of a group of local residents via social media.
In this regard, the advisors of the civil society group Zakzel wrote to the regional representative of water and forests, Berkane, in order to remedy the damage concerning the wild boar.
According to the correspondence, the “Heba Press” website received a copy. We address this request to you, requesting urgent intervention to remedy the persistent threat which has struck the inhabitants of Douwar Tezghin following the arrival of wild boars on their farms, and in the context of the risks and effects that this entails on agricultural activities, including sabotage and corruption of their agricultural lands.
We also inform you that the correspondent adds that this represents a real danger and a constant threat to the lives of residents, especially students of educational institutions located on the road surrounding the Zakzel valley (Tezgin-Zekzel Preparatory School Group ).
Finally, we call for urgent intervention to remedy the damage caused to the population.
