Mexico: A partnership agreement was signed between the Open University of Dakhla and the Metropolitan Autonomous University of Mexico, with the aim of consolidating cooperation in the areas of scientific research and academic training.

Lasting for four years, renewable, the agreement also provides for the exchange of professors and students, the organization of conferences and the development of research projects.
The UOD, created in 2010 by the Association of Studies and Research for Development, has the mission of promoting studies and research in the fields of economic, social, environmental and cultural development.
Founded in 1974, UAM has more than 100,000 students and offers training in several disciplines, including engineering, humanities, economics and social sciences.
