Mexico: A partnership agreement was signed between the Open University of Dakhla and the Metropolitan Autonomous University of Mexico, with the aim of consolidating cooperation in the areas of scientific research and academic training.

Signed by the president of the UOD (Open University of Dakhla) Driss Guerraoui and his counterpart from the UAM (Autonomous Metropolitan University of Mexico José Antonio de los Reyes Heredia, the day before yesterday Tuesday in Mexico, in the presence of the ambassador of Morocco to Mexico Abdelfattah Lebbar, a partnership agreement aims to establish a framework of cooperation between the two institutions to promote the exchange of expertise and experience and develop training programs in the areas of scientific research and training academic

Lasting for four years, renewable, the agreement also provides for the exchange of professors and students, the organization of conferences and the development of research projects.

The UOD, created in 2010 by the Association of Studies and Research for Development, has the mission of promoting studies and research in the fields of economic, social, environmental and cultural development.

Founded in 1974, UAM has more than 100,000 students and offers training in several disciplines, including engineering, humanities, economics and social sciences.
