Preparations are underway for the reconstruction of the Moulay Hassan stadium in Rabat

The authorities of the city of Rabat have begun the necessary preparations for the launch of the reconstruction project of the Moulay Hassan stadium, which will extend over an area of 2.7 hectares, at an estimated cost of around 656 million dirhams, and will be implemented implemented within 8 months.
The project will include the construction of stands surrounding all sides of the stadium, instead of the current form, bringing the capacity to 22,000 spectators, with full coverage of the stands.
New clothing warehouses, a seminar room, a medical room will also be built, in addition to entertainment and service facilities for the public, a cabin reserved for VIPs, in addition to 40 places in the podium of honor.
The development of the Moulay El Hassan stadium is part of efforts to improve sports infrastructure in Morocco, with a view to hosting the 2025 African Cup of Nations and the 2030 World Cup.
