Members of the Royal Gendarmerie of the territorial capital Sidi El-Makki in the Berrechid company were able to arrest one of the most renowned drug traffickers in the region.
Gendarmerie officers were able to ambush a well-known “broker” in the area before he was arrested and arrested. After a search, large quantities of drugs, alcohol and shera were found hidden in his house.
The detainee was placed in theoretical custody on the instructions of the Berrechid general prosecutor’s office, with a view to furthering the investigation and identifying all the actors involved in the process of supplying and promoting contraband.
