10 companies and entities from the Spanish aviation sector arrived in Casablanca on a commercial mission, organized by "Andalusia Trade" and "Andalusia Aerospace," with the aim of expanding business opportunities and enhancing international cooperation.
Spanish media reports revealed that Morocco has become a strategic hub in the aviation and space industry, with over 150 companies generating annual revenues exceeding 2.5 billion euros.
The "lavozdelsur" website stated that the meeting was organized in partnership with the Moroccan Aerospace Industries Group, with the aim of strengthening industrial and commercial ties between Andalusia and Morocco, "as Andalusia represents a strong industrial hub, while Morocco is considered a rising market," according to the source.
The website added that the Andalusian delegations held during the working visit "meetings with multinational companies, business meetings between companies, and visits to training and production centers," as well as discussions on investment support and cooperation with major companies such as "Collins Aerospace" and "Acutori," and opportunities to participate in the global supply chain.
According to the source, the delegations consisted of nine companies and entities from Seville, including "Canagrosa," "Seville Control Group," "Laminair," "Inesia (Testia)," "Copckov Ingeniería Abierta," "Ningenia," "Torciza," and "Aerosm," in addition to one company from Cadiz, "GECI Española Industry."
The source pointed out that Morocco has become a major partner for "Airbus" and "Boeing," with the most important free industrial zones for aviation and space concentrated in Casablanca, where high-level companies such as "Safran," "Spirit Aerosystems," "Collins Aerospace," "Dahir Hextar," and the "Airbus" group operate.
According to the same Spanish website, this mission comes within the framework of an agreement signed between "Andalusia Trade" and "Andalusia Aerospace" to enhance the international activity of the Andalusian aviation industry, which included more than 100 companies in various expansion programs during the first nine months of 2025.
