Prize officials announced that the Royal Club had won, outperforming all their competitors in Europe and around the world, by releasing a video clip highlighting the team’s achievements throughout the year, including their League victory of the Champions and in the Spanish League.
But the surprise was that the award was not given to anyone, since the management of Real Madrid decided to boycott the ceremony after learning that the Brazilian Vinicius Junior would not win the Ballon d’Or, which was to be awarded to the Spaniard Rodri, from Manchester City. player.
