Egypt’s official Middle East News Agency reported that actor Mostafa Fahmy died early Wednesday morning after a short battle with illness, at the age of 82.
She added that the family of the late actor, who is the brother of the famous actor Hussein Fahmy, will determine in the coming hours the time of funeral prayers and the time of receiving condolences.
Fahmy was born in August 1942 and graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema, Department of Photography.
He began his artistic career as a cinematographer in the films “Al-Nadhaha”, “The Princess of My Love”, “Soft Sex” and “The Liar”, before director Atef Salem convinced him to try his hand at acting in the film. ” Where is my Mind “.
Mostafa Fahmy has starred in many film works, including “Face to Face”, “For Whom the Sun Shines”, “Love in the Recovery Room” and “A Date with Destiny”.
