In new developments of the case that previously sparked wide interaction in Tangier, security services on Saturday impounded the minibus that appeared in a video clip driving in the wrong direction on the Tetouan road at the municipal garage, while the legal representative and owner of the company were questioned as part of the necessary legal procedures.
The available data indicates that the bus in question is designated for transporting workers and belongs to a company in Tangier, contrary to what was circulated about it being a bus for clandestine transport.
Investigations are still ongoing to question the driver, who has not responded to the summons issued to him.
In contrast, the bus owner stated that the driver was fired from his job in the wake of this traffic violation, which was documented by a video clip showing the bus driving against the direction of traffic, posing a danger to the safety of road users and causing obstruction to traffic flow.
