On the sidelines of the state visit carried out by President Emmanuel Macron to Morocco, which resulted in the announcement of an exceptional strategic partnership between the two countries, several agreements were signed in various areas.
Among the agreements signed, we will cite a memorandum of understanding providing for the granting of a French loan to the Casablanca-Settat region to finance certain World Cup projects.
It was decided that the French Development Agency would grant a loan of 100 million euros to the Casablanca-Settat region, in order to contribute to preparation efforts for hosting the 2030 World Cup.
