The Spanish Police High Division in the Aragon region has arrested a Moroccan immigrant wanted internationally by Morocco.
According to Spanish media, the 33-year-old Moroccan was arrested on the basis of an international arrest warrant issued against him.
Reports indicate that the detainee is wanted by judicial authorities in the city of Nador on charges related to facilitating irregular migration.
In coordination with Interpol, his file was transferred to the Central Court of Spain in Madrid to examine his extradition request to Morocco.
