The executive board of the Women’s Organization for Justice and Development was surprised by the consequences of the government’s recent amendment,

The office considers that this amendment doubles the disappointments of citizens and confirms the insistence on producing successive crises, the latest being the announcement by the legal sector of an open general strike, a precedent of its kind, and the continuation of the crisis among students at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, to which was added a crisis among employees and executives of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection.

The Executive Office underlined in a press release that the draft finance law for 2025 was devoid of any new element likely to alleviate the burden of burning vulnerable groups due to rising prices and worsening government figures. unemployment, and that this failing government was hiding behind a difficult context despite the improvement in various economic and financial indicators.

The Executive Office condemned the government’s reversal on promises related to women’s empowerment issues and the illusions it presented to Moroccans, while reality demonstrates clear confusion regarding social support programs and projects of social protection, and the loss of rights of a group of groups.

The Executive Office stopped when women suffered from discrimination and unequal opportunities in education and health, especially women from the mountains and oases, female employees employed in remote areas, and agricultural workers in miserable conditions and shameful transport conditions.

The office also paid attention to the suffering of women victims of the Al Haouz earthquake and Tata floods, women lured into illegal immigration, domestic workers and informal sector workers, as well as the high rate of school dropouts among girls due to the lack of student accommodation and the absence of scholarships.
