Minister of National Territorial Preparation, Construction, Housing and Urban Policy, Fatima Zahraa Al-Mansouri, indicated that the number of beneficiaries of the direct housing assistance program as of November 5 reached 28,458 beneficiaries , 26 percent of whom reside abroad.
Al-Mansouri explained, during his presentation of the ministry’s sub-budget for the 2025 financial year to members of the Committee on the Interior, Local Authorities, Housing, Urban Policy and Administrative Affairs, that the value of the housing acquired amounts to 11.4 billion dirhams, including 2.3 billion dirhams of State contribution, or 20% of the total value of the housing.
The minister added that the number of applications for assistance submitted until November 5 reached 111,745 applications, of which 89 percent were eligible for assistance, noting that the percentage of applications submitted by women reached 41 percent, while the percentage of young people reached around 37 percent. under 35), while applications filed by Moroccans living abroad amount to 22 percent.
