Development work on the “La Lébica” urban forest in the town of Larache continues and has reached advanced stages of implementation.
This project, with the Route de Taftat amusement park, on the outskirts of the region, is one of the important projects for which the regional council has allocated around 35 million dirhams, with the aim of restoring the image of this space very busy natural area. by dozens of visitors and sports enthusiasts every day.
According to available data, numerous trails intended for sports and hiking have been developed in the forest, which is expected to become one of the most important natural outlets in the region.
The works also include the creation of recreational facilities within the “La Ipeca” forest, providing them with general lighting, in addition to the development of rest areas and sports trails, the installation of a fountain, in addition to the creation of an Andalusian garden and areas for children.
