The first preparations have begun to launch work on the development project of the Ouzoud Waterfalls tourist site in the commune of Ait Takla in the Azilal province, with a budget estimated at around 16.5 million dirhams, and work is expected to continue for 12 months.
This work includes the development of the site’s interior pathways, the construction of crossing bridges, the installation of public lighting, the addition of street furniture, the creation of a fountain and the development of a space for the children.
The Ouzoud waterfalls rehabilitation project is part of the integrated rehabilitation program for the Ait Takla community, as the project should contribute to attracting financial investments and creating employment opportunities for the populations of the region.
This project is considered a new roadmap for the development of mountain tourism, which will give the region and the Béni Mellal-Khénifra destination as a whole the influence of a global tourist destination.
