In application of article 8 of Finance Law No. 55-23 for the 2024 budget year, the spontaneous regularization operation for assets and cash held abroad before January 1, 2023 and intended for Moroccans Residents in Morocco, was established to end from January 1 to December 31, 2024.
Based on the principles of anonymity, trust and confidentiality, this operation establishes a voluntary declaration process allowing resident natural and legal persons, having accumulated assets and liquidities abroad in violation of foreign exchange regulations, to regularize their situation and enter into the legality.
During this regularization period, natural and legal persons holding assets and cash abroad, in violation of exchange regulations and to benefit from the provisions of article 8 of Finance Law 55-23 for For the 2024 budget year, the persons concerned must file a declaration with a Moroccan bank of their choice, according to a model made available to them, and pay an advantageous contribution.
Declarations and payment of this contribution are made exclusively with Moroccan banks.
