SIEL-2024: A common pavilion dedicated to seven national institutions and authorities

A common pavilion will be dedicated to seven institutions for the protection of rights and freedoms, good governance, human and sustainable development and participatory democracy, on the occasion of the 29th edition of the International Publishing and Book Fair ( SIEL), which will be held in Rabat from May 9 to 19.

Taking part in this pavilion will be the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE), the Institution of the Mediator of the Kingdom (IMR), the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME), the High Authority for Audiovisual Communication (HACA ), the Competition Council (CC), the National Instance for Probity, Prevention and the Fight against Corruption (INPPLC), and the National Commission for the Protection of Personal Data (CNDP), underlines a joint press release.

Through this joint presence on the same pavilion, the seven aforementioned bodies wish to strengthen their visibility, promote the culture of citizenship and encourage dialogue with the public, indicates the same source, adding that the activities of the different institutions will be held autonomously. .

Indeed, this initiative, which is part of a perspective of coherence and complementarity of the areas of competence of the different institutions and bodies, will allow the public of the Show to become aware of the roles and missions assigned to them, and to familiarize themselves with their modes of operation and the results of their activities.

Visitors to the show will also be able to read the publications produced by these institutions and bodies and interact, during conferences and other scheduled events, with their respective representatives on their achievements in terms of the effectiveness of rights, regulation, good governance, sustainable development and participatory democracy.
