After the departure of Aliou Cissé from the helm of the Terenga Lions of Senegal, the choice of a new coach poses a problem and opinions focus on a single name and the president of the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) Augustin Senghor does not don’t beat around the bush to confirm it “We don’t change a winning team. But we favor national coaches. We have won our last four games, which means the job is well done.”
For all Senegalese, Pape Thiaw appears to be the best replacement for Aliou Cissé, still, the decision will come back to the executive committee of the FSF which will meet soon and by the end of the year, the final decision will be known.
It will be recalled that Pape Thiaw won the last CHAN in Algeria and presents himself as the favorite for the position of coach of the Lions of Terenga.
