First title in the eBotola Electronic Games competition for Raja against Wydad


Raja Club Athletic won the first title of the eBotola Electronic Games competition, after its victory against Wydad Athletic Club in the final, which took place at the Allal El Fassi hall in Rabat, the day before yesterday, Saturday April 20, in a professional atmosphere and was closely organized at all levels, with the organizing committee ensuring that all logistical and technical conditions met international standards, in accordance with the specifications of major international tournaments.

This tournament was organized by the Royal Moroccan Federation of Electronic Games in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation .

Hicham El Khlifi, president of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Electronic Games, underlined that this competition, organized for the first time in Africa and particularly in Morocco, brought together the national football clubs of Botola Pro in a unique electronic competition.

Four clubs from each group stage qualified for the PLAY-OFFS, thus reaching the final stage.

The Renaissance Sportive de Berkane (RSB) against the Wydad Athletic Club (WAC),

The Sports Association of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) against the Renaissance Athletic Club Zemamra (RCAZ),

Ittihad Riadi of Tangier (IRT) against the Olympique Club of Safi (OCS).

Raja Club Athletic managed to win the title of champion of Morocco in this edition and will thus participate in the qualifiers for the Club World Cup scheduled for this summer in Riyadh.

The prizes for this professional electronic tournament total 300,000 Dirhams.

At the end of the tournament, different personalities presented cash prizes to the winning teams respectively occupying the first four ranks, Raja, Wydad, the Royal Armed Forces and Olympique de Safi.

The Most Valuable Player of the Tournament Award and the Sportsmanship Award were also presented.
