Technopark Morocco, a pioneering innovation hub, and the Founder Institute Morocco, a global training and support network for entrepreneurs, announced on Wednesday a strategic partnership intended to boost the Moroccan entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The two parties will thus provide local startups with quality resources and unique development opportunities, both on a national and international scale, indicate Technopark and Founder Institute in a joint press release.
This collaboration is based on the complementarity of the two institutions, with the incubation and networking services of the Technopark combined with the mentoring expertise and proven methodological approach of the Founder Institute, continues the same source.
This partnership will also make it possible to support entrepreneurs at all stages of their journey, from the idea to the creation of competitive businesses.
This agreement constitutes a significant step forward to create new opportunities for Moroccan entrepreneurs and strengthen Morocco’s positioning as a regional hub of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Moroccan startups will thus benefit from the modern infrastructure and operational support provided by the Technopark, exclusive access to the global network of mentors and the Founder Institute programs, and collaborative events, jointly organized, to promote synergies between startups, experts, investors and mentors.
Quoted by the press release, the general director of Technopark, Lamiae Benmakhlouf stressed that this partnership “embodies our common ambition to promote innovation and support Moroccan startups in their quest for success”.
And added: “By collaborating with the Founder Institute, we are consolidating our role as a key player in entrepreneurship in Morocco and strengthening our impact within the national ecosystem.” For their part, Hicham Sentissi, Youssef Koun and Omar Layachi, co-directors of the Founder Institute Morocco, affirmed that this partnership marks an important step for the Moroccan entrepreneurial ecosystem.
