HRH Princess Lalla Meryem chairs the Board of Directors of FAR Social Works

In execution of the High Instructions of His Majesty the King, Supreme Leader and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Meryem, President of the Social Works of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), presided on Friday at the headquarters of the FAR General Staff, the Board of Directors of FAR Social Works.
On his arrival at the General Staff, His Royal Highness was welcomed by the Lieutenant General, Inspector General of the FAR, Commander of the South Zone and Deputy President of the Board of Directors of Social Works of the FAR, before review a detachment of the FAR Headquarters Battalion. During the meeting, the Colonel-Major, Head of the General Directorate of Social Services, reported on the various services provided over the past year, for the benefit of the beneficiaries of the FAR Social Works, in particular the actions of support for peacekeeping operations, pilgrimage and participation in operation “Marhaba” for the reception of Moroccans Residing Abroad (MRE).
This action plan also concerned medico-social services for the support and accompaniment of people with disabilities and parents of autistic children, as well as solidarity and relief measures taken to support victims of the earthquake. of Al Haouz.
At the end, the Council proceeded to examine the moral and financial report, as well as the action plan for the years 2024-2026, before approving the budget necessary for its execution.
