Africa Zone qualifiers for the U17 Women’s Football World Cup: will Algeria withdraw again against Morocco?

The U17 Women’s National Team faces its Algerian counterpart on Friday, May 10, at the Berkane Municipal Stadium from 8:00 p.m., for the third and penultimate round of the Africa Zone qualifiers for the World Cup. category.

The return match is scheduled in Algeria on the 17th of the same month at the Salem Mabrouki Stadium in Algiers at 5:30 p.m.

As a reminder, the U17 Women’s World Cup will take place in the Dominican Republic from October 16 to November 3, 2024. The qualified selections from the Africa Zone will be known at the end of the 4th Round next June.

Still, will this confrontation take place or would Algeria prefer to withdraw as it had already done with USMA, handball, gymnastics and swimming against Morocco?
