Ibrahim Lutfallah, the goalkeeper of the Bahraini national team, was the subject of a campaign of intimidation on social media due to his excess weight, after his participation in the Gulf Cup competitions.
The Bahrain goalkeeper was the subject of mockery and criticism on these platforms, but Lutfallah responded to the bullying with great gusto on the pitch, transforming the pressure into a positive incentive.
In the first match against the Saudi national team, despite conceding two goals, Ibrahim excelled by stopping three dangerous shots. As for the second match, which pitted Bahrain and the Iraqi team yesterday Wednesday, he showed a distinguished level and managed to keep a clean sheet, preventing Iraq from scoring.
